Hailing from San Diego, California The Ghost Orchid seeks to create a sound that encompasses the intensity, beauty and sorrow of the human experience by translating these emotions as soundtracks for everyday life. The Ghost Orchid was formed in late 2006 as a collaborative side project with the intention of combining a collection of songs, ideas, and instrumentals from the visions of two independent artists from different genres of music. The Ghost Orchid was featured in the 2008 time-lapse short video by Ross Ching called Eclectic 2.0. The song featured is called "Horseshoes and Handgrenades."
