“The Gap” was formed in September 2008 in Tehran, Iran by “Nima Ghasemi” (Guitars, Vocals) and "Mani Tabibzadeh" (Guitars, Keyboards and Vocals) , followed by “Amin Najafi Rad” (Drums) and “Ali Zarasvand” (Bass) when they Started to work on a Alternative Electronic-Rock Project and record an EP album called “Mind The Gap”. After Plenty of small private performances, The Band’s first serious live performance was in Dec 2008 with Nima, Mani and Amin Playing 3 blues songs at the “Iran’s House of Cinema” Amphitheater in front of some of Iran’s famous actors and film directors such as Ezatollah Entezami, Ebrahim Hatamikia, Parviz Parasroiee, Dariush Mehrjoiee and … In Feb 2009 "Ava Menbary" joined the band as the band's Keyboards Player. The band started to practice and getting ready for two concerts in "Iranian Society of Consulting Engineers" Amphitheater. In May 27 the band performed six songs: "Comfortably Numb" (Pink Floyd), "Another Brick In The Wall" (Pink Floyd), "Help" (Beatles) two Persian Blues songs (with the lyrics of Khayyam the Great) and “Pride And Joy” (SRV) and In April 2009 three Original songs “Fake”, “Stay” and “So Late”. In July 2009 "Ava" left the band.Since then the band is working on their song for an LP release of “Mind the Gap” And is working with Meysam Azarzad (Film Director) documentary film and a Video Clip for the song “Fake” that are still being on progress, Nariman Ghasemi (Photographer) that is stayed around with us and captured some great p
