The alternative folk pop group The Gladeyes are Jade Farley and Gwen Norcliffe from Auckland, New Zealand. Farley and Norcliffe both sing and write as well as play keyboard and percussion. Farley also plays guitar, violin and glokenspiel, while Norcliffe also plays bass and lap harp. The Gladeyes releasd EPs 'Hearts n'amour' in 2003 and 'A Heart Full of Love' in 2006. Their first full length album 'Psychosis of Love', released in 2009 by Lil' Chief Records, includes reworked songs including 'Bad Town Blues', 'One Million Kisses', 'Monika' and 'Andy' amongst others. The Gladeyes influences include the Carpenters, Mike Kelley, the Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel, Shangri-La's, Bob Dylan and Brian Eno.
