The Fury Abstract (now Déjà) is the musical creation of Austin Joseph Billings, a sophomore music student at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA from Oxford, Pennsylvania. Primarily inspired but a wide variety of artists and styles, The Fury Abstract embodies different mixtures of varying genres. The Fury Abstract released its first album "Skyline" in November 2009, Followed by "Killing Lions" in February 2010. A compilation EP of "B-side" type material and works in progress was released in October 2010, titled Pointless Music You Can Listen To Now and Might Actually Like. Austin is currently working on the fourth (second full-length) release "Nightfall", to be tentatively released in August 2011. Tracks can be streamed and downloaded for free at The Fury Abstract's official website, www.ajbmusic.bandcamp.com. In October 2010, the name of the project changed from The Fury Abstract to Deja (stylized as Déjà). The use of the name The Fury Abstract in metadata and publicity has accordingly been deprecated.
