There are six groups with this name: 1) The Four Horsemen were a band that had brief popularity in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They were based out of Hollywood California. Their 1st full-length CD, called "Nobody Said It Was Easy", was produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin. Their fame was fleeting but full of tragedy. Their original drummer Dimwit passed away from a drug overdose on September 27, 1994. Frank C. Starr was killed by a drunk driver while driving his motorcycle down Sunset Strip. The name of the group is in reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who appear in the Book of Revelation from the Bible.
