The Flashing Blade podcast is a Doctor Who podcast hosted by Tony Gallichan (also of the DWO WhoCast), his plucky girl assistant Jo!, and Bob (he of many aliases and nicknames). The format of the show is thus: an introduction, followed by the News (Doctor Who-related and otherwise), which is in turn followed by the Mews (news of Tony's cats), then the review section, and the listener feedback section. The "meat" of the show is the review, either of a televised Doctor Who story or a Big Finish Doctor Who audio play. In general, all three hosts will participate in a review for the current televised episode, whereas Tony and Jo! do "classic" Who reviews (most of which Jo! has never before seen), and Tony and Bob tackle the audio play reviews.
