“Vancouver's Lovebomb Duo have renamed themselves The Farmhounds, and it's an entirely appropriate name for this swampy two-piece. Their lead single, "She's Made" is a ruthless and rustic blues stomp that would have made Howlin' Wolf himself quite proud. Dripping with a certain hedonistic charm, this is a band that should definitely have mothers locking up their daughters. “ - Joshua Kloke, Music Editor, BeatRoute Magazine Like Dan Auerbach, Gordie Johnson, and Jack White III, Ricky Milan and Joel Forbes have created their own unique interpretation of the blues. A project that started in Forbes' garage evolved from spending hours listening to records by Blind Willie McTell, Hound Dog Taylor, Flat Duo Jets, and Captain Beefheart... to creating their own music with everything from traditional instruments like the organ and slide guitars to wood logs and pill bottle shakers. The band's forthcoming debut LP, Dirty Work, was recorded by Curtis Buckoll at The Hive Creative Labs in April 2011.
