Having the world at your fingertips and a record contract at 15 years old doesnt always mean you are where you want to be. Just ask the fairwell s fearless leader Zach Myers. After the Blues Based Zach Myers Band did 4 U.S tours and 2 European Treks Myers Found himself in a personal dillema. You can Continue with what youve known as this little blues guitar player kid and stay inside the lines OR option B step outside the box and do something for yourself says Myers. And thats what he did . After being a globe trotting Touring Guitar Technician for such artists as , Saliva, Matchbox Twenty, Shinedown,3 doors down and many others. Myers wanted to play music again . Thus The Fairwell was born. With that came Daniel Dwight and long time friend and fellow Memphian Jerry Meadows. I always wanted to be in a band with Jerry ever since I first saw him says Myers.And Daniel was just a friend who I had played a show with prior and I asked him to join. The trio toured several times with a laundry list full of 2nd guitar players. Untill Christopher Tabutt Joined the band in early 2005 . The band toured with such acts as Breaking Benjamin , Saliva , Shinedown , 3 doors down , and many others. As The Fairwell started gearing up to go record theyre debut album Myers got a call from Brent Smith Singer-Shinedown to come out and join Shinedown as a touring guitarist. That was hard Myers says.
