The Escapees (2009-2010) is a band from the central Jersey area. Band members consist of Sean Castrovinci (vocals, bass, guitar), Andrew Cogen (synth), Mike Christen (vocals, guitar, bass) , and Mark Ello (drums). Sean and Mike were part of a past band called The 3rd Line when they were 15. Compositional work in The Escapees songs are evenly split between Sean and Mike who take turns sharing the mic as well. Their first album (But It's A Sunday) was completed August 2010. Containing eight songs which the band performed at local venues around the New Brunswick area. The band is currently disbanded as band members are heading off to different colleges. No plans for coming back together for a second album.
