As the world progresses deeper into the 21st Century, the eye of the music industry’s storm fluctuates greatly through a range of varying musical styles, fashions and genres. The Electric Stranger is Bayside, Victoria's response to the influence of the aural medium of the last 40 years. The Electric Stranger was originally founded by Hayden Lee and James Howard in 2007, initially as a purely electronic-dance act. Signature tracks such as Metallic Hearts (with its instantly recognizable catch-cry of “We Dance Electro!”) and The Young Man quickly embedded themselves into the minds of all those who heard them. As the journey of The Electric Stranger progresses, more and more musical influences are mixed with experimental originality, leading to an expansion in the band line up, and a distinct change in sound realized through aural exploration. The Electric Stranger released their first official EP on the 14th of February, 2010, entitled "Dreams and a Neon City".
