The Electric Sentiments is a Long Island NY band. They consist of Josh Ginsberg, the primary writer (whatta egomaniac), lead singer and guitarist and an on and off crew of others including Doug Bleek on guitar and bass Craig Heed on bass. An EP was released around shows which was recorded in late 2005, called the ruff kutz EP. This recording earned comparisons to Pavement, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, and Dinosaur Jr. The band plans to record their full length album this summer with producer/engineer/mixer Doug Bleek and Arizona area drummer Eric Eisenstadt. The ES are signed to the very, very indie label Nondance Records with labelmates such as Nancy Reagan's Enduring Love, Ether Switch, the Cadavers and the legendary punk rock duo Avril Levine, whose 2006 single brought the label their first hit "Fuck Fuck" The Electric Sentiments' career came to a sad and anticlimactic way, after a lineup change (Josh guitar, Ory Baum drums, Doug Bleek bass) and the recording of a single for their song 'Empathize.'
