The Electric Blues Reaction are three piece blues/rock band from the darkest depths of the Herefordshire/Wales border. The group was formed by guitarist Troy Redfern who's musical formulative years were saturated with the music of all the blues legends, and who dispite many other musical adventures in other genres always hoped that a time would come when he would encounter the right players to put together an electric blues band with balls. Nick Smith, Troy's long time writing partner, also a major fan of the blues was always the top choice for fronting the outfit. Nick's a powerhouse drummer with a voice to match and delivers it the way the blues should be delivered...Raw! . Stuart 'Mac' McDonald, bassist with the 60's British blues band Killing Floor was next to be brought on board. Now Mac has a unique history with the blues, having shared the stage with Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Otis Spann and Freddy King to name just a few. In fact Killing Floor were Freddy King's backing band on Freddy's first two UK tours giving Mac unique opportunity to spend time on and off stage with Freddy, Otis and Holwin' Wolf on tour. Mac was also a member of Paul Roger's band Peace, touring the UK and Europe, taking in all the major festivals.
