The Dresdens are a UK punk rock band based in the small oxfordshire town of Eynsham. They are a "supergroup" of sorts, comprising Winnebago Deal members Ben Perrier (Bass, vocals), and Ben Thomas (Drums), and are completed by the addition of Jack goldstein, (Guitar, vocals), the fearsome lead singer of fellow Eynsham rockers GunnBunny. They specialise in shouty, anthemic punk music. They came to prominence in mid 2007, the year they formed, when the radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe added their track "Out On The Streets" to his playlist. A radio 1 session followed, as did crucial support slots with punk royalty such as GBH and The Buzzcocks. Their self - titled debut album has been recorded and is set for release, by DeckCheese Records, for late 2008.
