They moved to Los Angeles in '76 and became a fixture on the early LA punk scene. 2) The Dogs, garage rock from Oslo, Norway. They have recorded four albums; "Set Yourself On Fire And Follow The Smoke", "The Tears Are Voodoo", "Black Chameleon Prayer" and "Swamp Gospel Promises". Fronted by Kristopher Schau (Mongo Ninja, The Cumshots, Gartnerlosjen and Hurra Torpedo). 3) The Dogs were an underground phenomenon in Iowa during the 70s, they were a 3 piece band who played loud, raw, pre-punk similar to The Stooges and U.K. bands like Third World War, Hammersmith Gorillas and Crushed Butler. They released one single (Rot 'n' Roll b/w Teen Slime) and recorded a few other studio tracks later released by Rave Up records (Italy) in the late 90s. The band consisted of: Jody Koenig- Guitar/Vocals Ole Torvik- Bass/Vocals and Erik Berg - Drums/Vocals Greg Knipe was the original drummer, but he left early on to drum for Conway Twitty. 4)
