I. The Dirty Shame formed in 2006 with the goal of bringing outlaw country back to Montana the way it was meant to be. The band has grown a loyal fan base of throughout the west playing everywhere from Alaska to Nebraska bringing their own take on classic and modern outlaw country. This attitude translates into their original music which consists of new sounding road-tested songs and original fan favorites that are sure to please any fan of the genre. The three founding members Brandon Hale on lead vocals and guitar, Tom Day on the pedal steel, and Mike Hoffman on bass, have been touring with the band since its inception and have performed as much as 170 shows in a year. Brandon’s unique distinguishable voice and crisp rhythm guitar provide the blueprint for the songs and Tom’s pedal steel resonates truly while Mike’s bass bridges the gap between the tight rhythm section and the front end. Adam Greenberg, a veteran Bozeman musician who has performed with such acts as Pinky and the Floyd, Jeni Fleming and the Bridger Mountain Big Band keeps the drum foundation tight and interesting. On the lead guitar and vocals is area legend Kevin Toll who has performed with many great bands including Bluejack, the 30 ot Hix and Strangeways. The Dirty Shame is currently in pre-production of their next album of all original music due out this spring.
