1) The Dimensions were an obscure Garage combo from Park Ridge, near Chicago, Illinois. The Dimensions are Barre ‘Emil’ Probst (guitar, vocals 1950), Steve ‘Chrlie Tuna’ Purnell (guitar, keyboards 1948), Jim ‘Sieb’ Sebastian“ (vocals 1947), Tom ‘Happy Tooth’ Parnell“ (bass guitar 1948) and Jack ‘Cheta’ Brunsfield (drums 1948). The Dimensions recorded on their own private label (no label name) From All Dimensions in 1966 and it is a classic of the ‘Prep Rock’ Garage genre. From the high energy The Kinks’ I Need You, Them‘s Gloria, killer versions of Chuck Berry hits Carol and Around and Around with the kind of crudely amplified raw guitars and frenetic drums to the frantic Rick Dey‘s Just Like Me. 2) The Dimensions are Punkrock Band from Ibbenbüren/ Cologne Germany. The Dimensions are Maarten (Vocals and Guitar), Simon (Vocals ans Bass) and Franky (Drums) Formed in late 2005 they released a diy demo-tape/cd in august 2006, a 7" called "Stereo e.p." in february 2008, and their second 7" in july 2010.
