The Diablotones early incantation started in Feb 95". The Diablotones took the 3rd wave ska movement into a completely different direction. By blending Latin Ska, Bosanova, Surf, Punk, & Polka vibe which was felt throughout the U.S., Canada, & even Europe. MTV picked up our entire 1st Album. Which was featured on the REAL WORLD & ROAD RULES. That was about the height of the band. We were more interested in keeping a D.I.Y. movement. Spreading our thoughts of unity. Which we suceeded @ shows. "You can't change the world, but you can influence each other to be kind to one another." This was our purpose. And just having an amazing time playing to all of you. The Fans (Well we choose the word "friends") We'd have discussions during & after shows getting to know each other, our scene, and the common interest of a "drama free" scene. There's video around somewhere, where kids are dancing on stage filling every inch so they can skank along side us. The footage is amazing. Our S/T was released in 1997 which was an amazing experience. We never thought how many people still to this day still have this cd. And give us praise . This record put us on amazing journey touring with so many great bands. 2nd release "Dia De Los Muertos" 1999 was another strong record which let us travel a little more.
