The Derylik Brothers is the musical collaboration of Matt "Doc" Derrick and Greg "Waz" Wasylik: a brotherhood not bound by blood, but rather forged in the fire that is the independent music industry. The Brothers survived the early years of their music career - lean, mean, road-warrior days spent stuffed seven-deep in old vans touring regionally and often times playing for near-empty rooms, and rarely for folding money - only to somehow come out the backside grounded, stoic, and immeasurably appreciative of not only what they have, but also of what so many countless others have done before them. Both Doc and Waz have proven themselves as live performers, playing hundreds of shows across the Midwest, East Coast, Mountain West, and Canada. In past projects, the Brothers have headlined music festivals in front of tens of thousands of listeners, and played Industry Showcases in Cleveland, Toronto, and New York City. The Brothers know how to throw it down on a live stage, and past bands such as Ed's Speakeasy, Happenstance, Sugar Pill, Clyde, and Papa Junior were praised for their musicianship, energy, showmanship, diversity, and connection with the crowd. Each Brother brings with them a laundry list of influences that have shaped their careers: Doc has been heavily inspired by Soul and Blues singers, as well as modern singer-songwriters such as J.J. Grey, Ray LaMontagne, and Dan Aurbach. Waz grew up to the sweet tones of David Gilmore and classic '70s rock, followed by a baptis
