The Den Mothers are a garage rock band from Seattle, Washington. Band Members: Justin Ruedebusch (Guitar), Geoffrey Reed (Guitar, Vocals), Amy Mallory (Keyboards, Vocals), Johnny Rice (Bass) & Rob Femur (Drums) They Formed in the mid 1990s, and did most of their recording in the famed Fairwood Greens district of Kent, Washington. Their politically charged lyrics & fuzzed out & distorted sound, coupled with primitive recording techniques made them extremely controversial for their time. The on-stage antics of the band would be something to write home about if not for the fact that they got no gigs. Neither a favorite of critics or the general public, most of their recordings went unreleased. Their first single "My Friend Fanny" b/w "The Puppy Who Lost His Way" was released in 1997. Justin Ruedebusch went on to join garage-rockers The Curses Geoffrey Reed formed Reedco. Records, which released the bands greatest hits album, "Oh Yes... This Rocks!"
