Artist
1. The Demoniac is an alias for Dutch Hardcore duo Bass-D & King Matthew. They released 3 EPs in the period of 1995-1996 under this name. 2. Last known line-up: Lindsay "Behemoth" Dawson - Vocals, Bass (DragonForce (guest)) Sam ``Heimdall`` Totman - Guitars, Keyboards (DragonHeart (UK)/DragonForce, Power Quest, Shadow Warriors) Herman ``Shred`` Li - Guitars (DragonHeart (UK)/DragonForce, Shadow Warriors, Igor Belsky (guest)) Diccon Harper - Bass (live only) (DragonHeart (UK)/DragonForce, Voice of Destruction, Solstice (UK), Pagan Altar) Moved to England in 1997 because of the poor New Zealand Metal scene. They broke up in 1999, soon after their release of ``The Fire and The Wind.`` Most members went on to form DragonHeart (UK) which morphed into DragonForce. They played Black Metal on ``Prepare For War``, before evolving into a more Power Metal sound (still with blackened vocals) over the next two albums, particularly ``The Fire and The Wind.`` Behemoth played bass on all Demoniac's releases, but for live purposes session players were usually drafted in. Diccon Harper never got the chance to record with Demoniac. Behemoth performed some guest vocals on DragonForce's 2006 "Inhuman Rampage" album.
