The Deltones were a ska band from the United Kingdom. An early incarnation of The Deltones had recorded a session for the John Peel Show in the summer of 1986, but it wasn't until two years later that they made their vinyl début via the 'Make Me Smile' 45 and the Nana Choc Choc in Paris LP for French label Boucherie Productions. The three prong vocal delivery of Amanda, Verona and Dill, a highly energetic live show and colorful outfits made their many gigs 'must sees'. Unicorn Records picked up the license for the United Kingdom and released 'Stay Where You Are' as single.
