The Defeat is the name of at least 2 bands: 1. The Defeat was a rock band from Reading, UK. They formed in April 2007 and play a tidy blend of angular and pretty, emotional rock music. In the short time they have been together they have had the pleasure of appearing on bills with some amazing acts including Youthmovies, Meet Me in St Louis and Marvins Revolt to name a few. Since December '07 they have been busy in the studio recording songs for their debut release which should be available mid to late 2008 - with a tour scheduled around the end of the summer.
