After playing together for three years as geek rock- super group THE DAYMAKERS, Texas twin brothers JD and JT Long, and friend Jason Copps decided it was time for a change. The solution: more alcohol and some feel good garage/country Rock&Roll. JT confesses his lifelong fantasy of being a drummer and retires his bass, Jason puts down his drum sticks, picks up the guitar and takes the reigns as frontman. Meanwhile, JD buys a couple of cool pedals, tweaks out his guitar sound and the world is introduced to THE DEADLY VIBES! Early 2006: The Deadly Vibes quickly record a four song demo CD, play a bunch of local shows and manage to sell over 300 copies. Dec 2006: The Deadly Vibes head to Soul, Korea for a short tour. In true R&R spirit, during the shows the boys are showered in litter, half filled beer cans, and even snowballs (yes! snowballs), all at the insistence and incitement of the band of course! June 2007: The Deadly Vibes tour China. After an exhausting 9 shows in 11 days (six cities), the boys leave a trail of empty beer cans, sweat, and screaming fans! July 2007: The Deadly Vibes headline (B stage) at the Fu-Long Music festival (one of Taiwan's biggest outdoor festivals). Early 2008: The Deadly Vibes are deemed "The hardest working band in Taiwan" by Highway 11 Magazine after continually playing shows, promoting themselves and consistently putting on high energy and over the top live performances! March 2008: The Deadly Vibes create the wildly successful "R
