If Zappa had embraced the drugs of his era and Bowie had grown up harboring a sick infatuation with zombies they would've found themselves neck deep in the sound of The Dead Bodies, pushing the barrier of typical acid-rock with electronic elements, while still managing to sound delicate and strangely endearing.
