There is more than one band called The Days. 1. The Days (formed: 2005) from South Devon, United Kingdom 2. The Days from Chicago, IL, United States 3. The Days (1988-1991) from East Manchester, United Kingdom 4. The Days from Birmingham, United Kingdom 5. The Days, grunge band from Poland 1. Front man, Luke Simpkins, 24, and bass player, Dan Simpkins, 25, are brothers from Ivybridge in South Devon. They met their drummer, Harry Meads, 24, at school and in July 2005 after meeting again at Ugbrough fair they formed The Days. Two months later they all moved to London to further the band, found guitarist Tim Ayers,23 , also from school, and quickly earned themselves a place on the music circuit. Although the band’s clean-cut, boyish image will lead to comparisons with several pop/rock teen bands, The Days’ piano rock sound appeals to a much larger audience. They have supported Supergrass, The Fray and more recently Elliot Minor and Scouting For Girls during November-December 2008. 2. The Days are also a creative pop/rock band based out of Chicago, IL. The Days released their first album, Great Big World, which recently appeared as scrobbled on LastFM, in 2005. Now the members are finishing high school or in college (Jordan Stacey, who now attends Cornell College in Iowa). They have committed themselves to continue to bring their music to clubs and college campuses. 3. The Days burst out of unfashionable East Manchester in 1988, flying th flag for psychedelia-tinged indie
