The Dawn Chose Orion are a progressive EDM/Hip Hop/Djent/Rock* band from Aurora, Colorado USA. In 2008, Seth Early (vocalist, songwriter, & multiple instruments) created the name based on an ideological tribute to Homer's 'The Odyssey'. A futuristic sci-fi and anime inspired concept was then built around the band's music to parallel today's current society and Seth's own personal experiences. As time went on, the rest of the band fell right into place to it's current 3 piece form: Justin Riss (drums) and Lorenzo Chacon (guitar) to form the progressive and diverse sound of The Dawn Chose Orion. For fans of Architects, TesseracT, Girugamesh, SpiritBox, In Flames, & Coheed And Cambria! The Dawn Chose Orion (TDCO) has played many shows since their first in 2011, even opening for national and international signed acts such as Darkest Hour, 36 Crazyfists, Allegaeon, Straight Line Stitch, Darkness Divided, It Lies Within, As They Sleep, Polarization, Night Shade; Which has gained them more exposure, new fans, and sponsorships from multiple companies. In September 2013, The Dawn Chose Orion went on their first tour ever named "Join The Resistance Tour''. They played shows in San Diego, LA, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City, and many more cities since. After their third tour in 2015, The Dawn Chose Orion went back in the studio to record a follow up EP called "The Byroad To Ascension Point".
