The Daimonic is just another neurotic melancholic spending far too much time in his own head. All songs are written, recorded and rehearsed in the livingroom of a small apartment, and the neighbours get cranky if there’s too much noise. The sound is therefore dominated by an old acoustic guitar, with the occasional soft drumming and synth. What results is minimalistic Lo-Fi, rooted in the alternative singer/songwriter landscape, and the music is better suited as a soundtrack to the soul searching moments the day after, than the partying the night before.
