The Crunchy Tampons are a one-man music project based in Dundee, Scotland. Veering from drone and ambient to lo-fi blues to coked-up heartbroken bare folk, to found sound experiments to farts, the polite and likeable Crunchy Tampons applies salival effort to a wide range of sonic ponderings. Using live improvised takes with bass, guitar, melodica, Stylophone and other instruments, he creates spacey yet detailed soundscapes, but is just as comfortable with under-an-influence noise freakouts, sample-based cuts, or just singing a wee song for you.
