Artist
The Cropdusters are originally from Lymington, Hampshire (UK). They formed in 1986. Within two years their Hoedown/Punk sound was winning them many fans at home and across Europe. In April 1988 they released a three track EP - Banjo Hill, which they promoted on a national tour. The first LP was released in 1989 entitled 'If The Sober Go To Heaven..' That same year saw a blistering headline gig on the second stage at Reading festival. In 1992 the LP 'Home Grown Agent Orange' was released, featuring less fiddle and more guitar. They were hugely popular in Europe by this time and continued to play to many fans on the festival circuit, however towards 1994 things were starting to peter out and sometime that year they finally split. Some years later they reformed, albeit unfortunately now missing two of their original members due to the untimely passing of fiddle player Cob. Vocals - Shaun Morris Guitar/vocals - Marcus Stott Guitar - Roger Figgures Bass - Michael Case Fiddle - Cobert 'Cob' Cook (sadly passed away in 2005) Drums - Bill Haley (Bill sadly died in 1991) Drums - Krishna Stott User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
