Ellen and Elaine attended Austin High school on Chicago's west side in the early 1960's... producer Russ Vestee and drummer Eddie Hoh (RIP) attended Proviso High in Maywood IL...Guitar player Anthony Carmine Menna attended Fenton High in Bensenville IL and songwriter/piano player Larry Nestor attended Holy Cross high in River Grove IL.... The Downbeats fronted by Russ Vestee (Vestuto) backed The Creslyns on Boom-Chip-A Boom..... The song in essence was about drummer boy Eddie Hoh who became a session drummer in California after high school... Ellen and Elaine (The Twins) went on to join a nine member band in Chicago called The Neighborhood who were most known for their cover of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" hit song...Billy Mendes, Russ Rickman, Joe Evans, Billy Charmello , Bobby Brostoski,Michael Tomasetti and Louis 'Chick' Stella were the other members besides Ellen and Elaine in The Neighborhood....
