California based male-female led indie pop band The Creepy Crawlies can be summed up as an "attempt to transform psychic pain into pop pleasure, turn feeling small into a wall of sound, and celebrate the tiny triumphs amidst tragedy (even if the triumph is solely one of denial)." The Creepy Crawlies emerged from the cocoon of the band Chris & Mollie in 2008 and consist of Chris Donlon on guitars and vocals, Kate McLean with voice and keys, Chris’s brother Anthony Donlon with bass, and Mollie Hagar and Justin Riner with drums.
