There are at least two bands called The Coterie: 1. The Coterie was a post-hardcore / metalcore band from Portland, OR, United States. Anchored in "the city of roses and rain", their full-length debut album, Aesthete, came out in 2007, recorded by the guitarist Evan White. Personnel: Keith Conrad (vocals), Evan White (guitar), Kenneth Alexander (guitar), Rory Mohon (bass), Chris Desanto (drums). 2. The Coterie were a Dublin, Ireland-based folk quartet of the late 1960s, comprising Margaret Maguire, Kathleen Maguire (no relation), Jacqueline McDarby and Catherine Donnelly. Their album A Swing to Folk (1969) featured a combination of folk traditionals and material by artists such as The Beatles and Leonard Cohen.
