Born in Shropshire, England, The Cosmic Gerbil is a child of the 80s. She has always loved music and started playing the organ at age 5 and keyboard at 11. At the age of 7, Cosmic was bought a Commodore 64, which, music wise was one of the most sophisticated computers available in the 80s, thanks to its now legendary SID (Sound Interface Device) chip. Cosmic was heavily influenced throughout her childhood by composers such as Rob Hubbard, Ben Daglish and Mike Alsop. Cosmic now writes remixes and covers of C64 tunes, as well as some original tunes. She uses Guitar Pro for her compositions and her computer is a Compaq, with an AMD 2.2 GHz processor chip.
