The Corrs are an Irish family band from Dundalk, County Louth, consisting of siblings Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle, mandolin, ukulele), Sharon (violin, keyboards, vocals), Caroline (drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals), and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). Their music blends pop rock with traditional Irish elements. The band has released seven studio albums and multiple singles, achieving Platinum certification in several countries and selling approximately 40 million albums worldwide. Their second studio album, "Talk on Corners", is their most commercially successful release, reaching multi-Platinum status in Australia and becoming the highest-selling album of the year in the United Kingdom. At one point, the band held the top two positions simultaneously on the UK album charts, with "Talk on Corners" at number one and "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" at number two. "Talk on Corners" was also the third highest-selling album of the year in Australia. Their third studio album, "In Blue", reached number one in seventeen countries. The Corrs have received two Grammy Award nominations and one BRIT Award, and they were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 for their contributions to music and charitable activities. They have participated in numerous charity events, including The Prince's Trust in 2004 and Live 8 in 2005. The band was largely inactive for nearly a decade while Jim and Caroline focused on family life and Andrea and Sharon pursued solo careers. In 2015, the band
