The Corridor has been in existence since the early nineties, forming from the ashes of Autobutcher, a debauched free for all of industrial noise. One of the original lo-fi pioneers of electronica, The Corridor's first releases (sabres of paradise) embodied the 'punk' spirit of dance music. Recordings were made in bedrooms on second hand equipment without any luxuries like hard disc recording. Or even tape come to that. Straight to DAT. Since those forst 12"s, The Corridor's music evolved into even darker filmscapes as seen on the 'Serious Earth' album. The Corridor get airplay on Radio 1, Radio 3 and Kiss 100 - quite a mix!
