The Control Group

The Control Group was a Boston-based band operating in the late 1990s. They played well crafted melodic rock music which served as a profound mating call; most, if not all, of the members have had success to varying levels with dating, marriage, mating, and spawning progeny with female members of their species. The band was born from the ashes of The Doosies, which featured several of the same members. Their live performances showcased their aggressively self-effacing stage banter and an affinity for rock's rich pageant of riffage. A reunion show was held in Boston in late 2007.
