The Contents Are were a folk-garage group from Davenport, Iowa, that cut a couple of 45's and one full-length album, 1967's Through You. The album is highly sought after by collectors, as only 100 copies were printed and given away to fans at live shows. The music is completely original, a rarity among garage acts of the time. The group blends folk, garage, and psychedelic sounds, producing a melodic and melancholy album. A copy of Through You was found in Austin, TX, in 2005, and has since been reissued.
