From the depths of Miami’s underground punk scene, comes forth The Coffin Caddies, a Horror-Pop punk band with a hunger for unique, energy driven Music. The Coffin Caddies begin in the summer of 2000 when guitar player, Alexx Nameless (N.P.A.A, RUIN, The Creeperz), and song writer/singer Rei Horror (Shattered Sunrise) decided to work together on a project based on their vision of melodic punk music with a tone of horror influenced lyrics. Both had a strong passion for bands like of The Misfits, Mad sin, AFI, Tiger Army and Nekromantixs. In 2001, during a 4-month period, the band wrote what was later to be known as their first E.P. “Mothers Day‿. The CD contained 4 tracks of chaotic riffs with a layer of intense melodies and haunting vocals. After the E.P, the band hung up their horror hats to pursue their current full-time bands. 4 years later, The Coffin Caddies were resurrected with the help of the undead brothers, AustinRight and Zanderstien (Rip off, The Blabbermouths) on Drums and Bass. The Coffin Caddies love to incorporate different styles of music and don’t cater to just a Horror punk sound. They incorporate everything from Pop punk (Screeching Weasel, The Vindictives, Ramones) and Power Metal (Iron Maiden, Strativarious), to bring a sound like never heard before. They’re stage shows have been described as “Loud‿ and “Out of this world‿ by several popular Magazines and News Papers.
