Artist
The Cochran Brothers were an American country and rockabilly group consisting of Eddie Cochran (vocals, guitar), Hank Cochran (vocals), and Billy Watson (guitar, vocals). Despite the group's name, Hank and Eddie were not actually related. Starting in 1955, they recorded several singles, among them "Mr Fiddle" and "Tired and Sleepy". The group split in 1956, with a total release count of four singles. Eddie went on to become a pioneering force in 50s rock 'n' roll with hit singles such as "Summertime Blues" and "C'mon Everybody" before his untimely death in 1960; Hank became a successful songwriter in his own right, penning classics for artists such as Patsy Cline, George Strait and Merle Haggard.
