Formed in late 2001 in Nagoya, THE CLUTCH is a melodic hardcore band centring around JUN and KZK, who have known each other since elementary school. The group released their first album RUSH OUT in 2002, followed by various other releases leading up to their sophomore full album, Infinite Possibility, in 2007. The group have enjoyed a lot of attention not only in their hometown but also in the capital, and in 2007 alone made over 120 live performances. In 2008 the group signed to CAFFEIN BOMB RECORDS, and after numerous member changes, and various projects aimed at boosting the scene in Nagoya, finally released their third album, A Stitch In Time Saves Nine, in November of that year.
