The Civil Disobedients are former members of notable Winnipeg, Manitoba bands: The Velvet Pill, Tequila Mockingbird and Pretty Train Crash. Their music is a refreshing mix of aggressive metal, melodic rock, and lyrics with a social conscience that actually makes you think. T he band has been playing together for just over a year, but have already built a solid and loyal fan-base, and have established themselves among Winnipeg’s top rock acts. This is due in part to the band’s music, but also to their insanely energetic live show. JON: Guitars, back up vocals, utter nonsense after dark.
