From their website: http://www.choralproject.org/about.html *Statement of Artistic Intent* The ultimate manifestation of The Choral Project's concert presentations can be called "Choral Theater." These presentations, when fully realized, will expand the traditional choral art into elaborate theatre pieces involving lighting, staging, scripted material, visual media (such as photography, film or animation), audio effects, as well as unique vocal literature. These concerts will attempt to explore new artistic ground just as "Cirque du Soleil" did with the circus medium, "Riverdance" did with Irish Folk Dancing, and "Blast" did with Drum & Bugle Corps field shows.
