The Child Forgives and Creates is a Texas/Rio Grande Valley instrumental band that has been making music since 2003-2004. Rather than relying on lyrics and vocals, the band instead purely uses music to pose questions to their audiences and to themselves causing them to search inside for their own respective meaning. Originally a quartet of two guitars, bass, and drums the band has expanded to six sometimes eight members adding layers on top of reverb soaked guitars with trumpet, sax, flute, bells, piano, accordion. TCFAC has released a non-titled self-released album in 2006 as a quartet. That same quartet has toured twice for the 2006 album and earlier self-recorded cd-r album under the band name Colette. TCFAC's two founding members (Tom, Niko) are currently joined by Jeanette (flute, piano), Matt (drums), Kenny (bass, accordion) Leo (saxophone), Fabian (guitar, trumpet).
