The Champagne Charade is a powerful, melodic rock 5-piece from northern New Jersey driven by '80s hardrock, pop, and theatrical influences. The group is lead by Saetia LaReoux on vocals, Bobbie Venom and Kaedon Grey on guitars, Nicky Charade on bass, and Chris Crypts on drums. The band crafts infectious songs with heavy guitar laden sounds, melody, and lovely, strong vocals that’ll instantly grab your attention. You can hear their music at myspace.com/thechampagnecharade The CC’s first EP, The Takeover is available for download on their MySpace page. It features “Death Walks at Midnight,” “Lipstick Scars,” “Meant to Be,” “Passing Notes in Class,” and “The Offering.” In July 2008, the band released a 3 song sampler, which highlights the bands dynamic sound and evolution. The delivery is superb and captures the band at its finest with the sweetest voice and screams from Saetia. Catchy, aggressive and rockin’ the release is strong. The sampler features “Sickness and Sorrow,” “Chasing Down the Sunset,” and “Tainted Blood.” The sampler debuted on 89.5 FM WSOU. Fall 2008, the band release Glitter City, which featured 8-songs taken from their two releases. The band’s first show was March 22, 2008 at the Iron Monkey in Jersey City, New Jersey with Fighting Over Shotgun. TCC will embark on its first east coast tour on January 3, 2009.
