The Casual Lean are a 5 piece angular indie rock band from New Bedford, MA. Their full-length album, Swears, was produced and egineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at Godcity Studios in Salem, MA. The album has a release date of July 31st 2007 on Orange Peel Records. The Casual Lean were Alternative Press' Unsigned Band of the Month in 2005, and in 2006 will appear as "A Band to Watch in 2006." They also have a cover of Bob Dylan's Sara on Doghouse Records' "Paupers, Peasants, Princes and Kings" Bob Dylan Tribute compilation.
