The Canvas System formed in the summer of 2006 and has already been making great progress. They have just finished recording their 10-track debut album ‘Everything we left behind’, which will be on sale in March this year. They have also been busy planning their UK summer tour, which will run between May and July 2007. The band has been credited by vocalist Adam Duritz from The Counting Crows and has been rated on the band’s website, which has helped them gain an even larger following. Their musical style can be compared to bands and artists such as Paramore, Alanis Morissette, Flyleaf and The Smashing Pumpkins. Soaring melodies, catchy choruses and moving lyrics, The Canvas System are already making an impression on the UK South West music scene and they are all prepared for a long career ahead of them.
