Comprising Guy Brewer (Commix), Dan Gresham (Nu:Tone), Matt Gresham (Logistics) and George Levings (Commix) "The Cambridge Four" are all well established individual artists who, through honing their collective sound at the darker edge of soulful Drum & Bass and shaping the scene in various venues from the intimate cellars of Cambridge to the legendary Fabric, made the logical step into the studio as a combined force. True to their local roots it's not uncommon to see the lads repping their ends 2, sometimes 3 nights in a row in Cambridge which, due to the tight-knit scene, makes them big-time taste-makers. However, the diverse influences brought to the table by each of the Four means guaranteed freshness. Also worthy of mention, and almost certainly a factor of the Four's flavour, are the frankly off-the-hook "Spoonfed" nights, hosted by some or all of the "Four" and used as a testbed for new directions, where DJ skills are kept sharp alongside such big-name guests as: Bryan G; DJ Die; Fabio; Ed Rush; Marcus Intalex; Klute; Total Science; DJ Marky; Doc Scott etc etc...Well worth a trip if you live in South-East England!
