The Californias are the incarnation of lead vocalist mike june. The Californias are based out of Griffin, GA and have played the Atlanta music scene along with other locations in the Southeaster US. The band is officially no longer together. Bassist Wes Flowers left to tour with Butch Walker, with the rest of the members joining The Love Willows in 2008. In the transition to The Love Willows, mike june has returned to playing bass, the instrument that he originally played with The Californias. The Love Willows are fronted by Hope Partlow. Officially a duo comprised of Hope and Ryan, The Love Willows are scheduled to release their debut album in early 2009 on Decca Records.
