The Bungalows are an Australian four-piece indie rock band formed in Illawarra, NSW. The band consists of Cuneo (lead guitar, vocals), G Gannon (vocals, guitar), Matthew Gannon (bass), Adam Wilding (drums). They draw influences from The Shadows, Bob Marley and The Clash. Having released an EP late last year (November 07), to a welcomed response from folk at FBI and Triple J, Australian, NSW South Coast band THE BUNGALOWS return with their debut self titled album out November 2008 on Sydney based Indie Label MAKEyourself Records (home to up and comers Aleesha Dibbs, Fait Accompli, Zeahorse and events La Femme, My Sydney Riot) & distributed in Australia thru MGM. Recorded in a backyard shed come studio, by Matt Bragg of Bragg Recordings, the new disc offers another taste of Bungalow goodness before they take off around the country in support of their new release. Relative newcomers The Bungalows have played with the likes of British India, The Beautiful Girls, Little Red, Belles Will Ring, Young & Restless, Ground Components, Blue Juice, Cloud Control, The Mess Hall, Rocket Science, Goons of Doom, I Heart Hiroshima, Fait Accompli, Yves Klein Blue, and a stack of other golden bands in venues across the East Coast.
