Post-punk/alt-rock-style band from New Orleans. http://soundcloud.com/thebummers http://instagram.com/thebummersband The Bummers are a New Orleans based rock band formed in September 2014 when Ben Shooter and Sean Doyle met in a music class at Tulane University. After recruiting Paul Katzman on bass guitar and Ethan May on drums, the band began writing original music that blended the musical backgrounds of all 4 members. The Bummers' songs present a mixture of many genres including classic rock, punk, funk, and alternative rock. The four went into the studio in December of 2014 and released their debut EP the following March. Currently the band is playing shows to support their first release while writing more original music with the hope to record a full length album.
